SUPREME COURT JUSTICES FIGHT OVER GLOBAL WARMING

Last week, the Supreme Court had to confront the issue of global warming for the first time, hearing a challenge to the Bush administration's refusal to regulate emissions of greenhouse gases in new vehicles. During questioning, Justice Breyer told Justices Scalia and Thomas, "If you had let the real president take office, all that hot air from the White House wouldn't be polluting the ozone.” A peeved Antonin Scalia looked up from his crossword puzzle and shot back, "Bite me, Breyer.
