CHENEY’S LESBIAN DAUGHTER TO WED IN SOUTH AFRICA

Mary Cheney—the lesbian daughter of the Vice President, said she and her partner will get married in South Africa since the parliament has approved legislation that recognizes gay marriages. “I want to thank the African National Congress for freeing us from the shackles of sexual apartheid that the American government has imposed upon us with the Federal Marriage Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,” she said.
